It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year

I LOVE Halloween. It's the best time of the year. Fall is settling around our shoulders, the colors on the trees are vibrant and beautiful in Atlanta, and there's an air of mystery everywhere you go. I love wrapping myself up in this season. Sadly, my costume (which I ordered six weeks ago) is lost in the mail. I was planning on going as a Gresha (from Shadow and Bone). I guess I'll have to pull something out of my closet from a previous year.

As we cross the veil, leaving the warmth of summer behind, I'm grateful for the months of sunshine and growth. It's time to say thank you for the harvest and to prepare the gardens for the fallow time of winter. Soon, the cold of winter will find us and we'll turn our thoughts to fireplaces and Christmas.
